Heat Your Engine

Before we do sporting activities, we are encouraged to warm up and stretching to avoid injury. The same analogy is true for our car engine. To avoid injury to our car engine, engine warm-up before we start the vehicle if the car was parked for more than 2 hours or with a cold engine is necessary. Why?

In the machine a lot of moving parts. Most of the movement, occurs friction between components, which in addition to causing the heat of course will cause the wear surface components. To prevent the earlier mentioned, the engine needs oil or often referred to as engine oil. When the engine in cold conditions, together with engine oil in oil bath, or often referred to karter oil, while moving between components such as pistons, noken axles, axles and other crutches, remaining engine oil that is not enough to make lubrication when the engine works . This is why warming up the engine needs to be done.

When the engine has just started, that's when the oil pump, which served to distribute the oil throughout the engine's internal parts, began to work. And when he had just turned on, the oil of course take time to lubricate all engine components, to the remote corners, so that when in this state machine is forced to work with a higher rotation than stasionernya (approximately 700 rpm on gasoline engines and 500 RPM on diesel engines) are gradually going through the friction between components.

So, by spending time just 1-2 minutes, every day we can extend the life of use our car engines
