chocolate reduces the risk of stroke
Chocolate is far more famous as a mood generator was also believed to protect the body from a stroke. However, the recommended chocolate is dark chocolate (dark chocolate).
Dr. Gustavo Saposnik recently published the results of his analysis of three studies about the benefits of dark chocolate and stroke. One study found no link between chocolate consumption and the risk of stroke.
However, two other studies linking dark chocolate with a decreased risk of stroke by 22 percent in people who ate dark chocolate only once a week. The third study even mentioned, the risk of death from stroke can be reduced to 46 percent if you eat 50 grams of chocolate each week.
Efficacy of flavonoids, a type of antioxidant found in cocoa, is believed to have a positive effect on the heart. Chocolate also mentioned effectively lower LDL or bad cholesterol.
"So far people only know all the chocolate is good for the heart. In fact, not all the same beneficial chocolate, a good dark chocolate," said Saposnik.
Although two scientific studies say the benefits of chocolate for the heart, but the experts would not rush to recommend chocolate as a healthy food. After all, chocolate included in the source of saturated fat can raise cholesterol.
Meanwhile, some other researchers say, if consumed in excessive quantities, chocolate's health benefits, including lowering blood pressure and improve blood circulation to the entire artery.

So far it is proved that chocolate is not only good for health , for heart but it is also good for the stroke,it lowers down the risk of stroke. Though Doctors wont recommend people and their patients to consume chocolates yet because it is not scientifically proven, these are just the research works done by the researchers.
